Early Career

JJ Redick came into the Duke program highly recruited and much anticipated. After an amazing 4-year career with the Blue Devils, he became one of the most decorated players in college basketball history.

Accomplishments

During his senior season, Redick was named a USBWA All-District III honoree and started 30 of 33 games. He averaged 15.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.3 steals per game.

Redick was a key member of Duke's 2004 NCAA Championship team. He also helped lead the Blue Devils to the Final Four in 2006.

Redick's college career was filled with highlights, including his record-breaking performance in the 2006 NCAA Tournament. In that game, he scored 27 points and hit a school-record nine three-pointers.

Legacy

JJ Redick is considered one of the greatest shooters in college basketball history. He holds the NCAA record for most three-pointers made in a career (457). Redick was also a two-time All-American and a three-time ACC Player of the Year.

After his college career, Redick was drafted by the Orlando Magic with the 11th overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft. He played 15 seasons in the NBA, making the All-Star team three times.

Redick retired from the NBA in 2021. He is now a basketball analyst for ESPN.
